We work together with other NGOs and institutions for social inclusion in the area. Last week we concluded the Advocacy Campaign for Social Inclusion with a public debate “Inclusion. vs. Exclusion” when we were hosted by our colleagues from the Veritas Foundation. We had practical exercises, teamwork, and a lot of exchange of information and ideas for future collaborations. The event was organized together with the CEDES Social Development Center in Sighisoara. We were glad to have with us experts from the Directorate of Social Assistance Sighisoara, the County Agency for Payments and Social Inspection Mureș, and the East European Institute of Reproductive Health.
This time, the NGOs from Sighișoara and the area that sent interested people for discussions and projects or initiatives are Aripi și Sunet, Perspective Daneș Association, Adrian Luptă cu Autismul Association, Interethnic Educational Center Association for Youth Sighișoara, HOPA! from Topa.
After a round of presentations, we worked in two teams on four distinct themes: community, institutions and authorities, NGOs, and education, and debated the directions in which the work for social integration can be improved about these ” actors”.
