Workshop 2️⃣ / 11.06.2021
“It was great!” said at the end one of the participants of the second non-formal education workshop we organized in Archita on June 11! It is important to know that the themes and activities we choose for each workshop are to the liking of our participants. The challenges prepared for the children were gladly accepted by them.
And last Friday, the theme of the workshop was V-O-L-U-N-T-A-R-I-A-T-U-L (volunteering), a theme that the children themselves discovered after a puzzle they had to solve. Maria from Mălâncrav, a 17 years old volunteer of our foundation, accompanied us this time as a special guest. With photos from the projects she was involved in the background, she explained to the children what it means to be a volunteer, what are the benefits of participating in such an activity and what are the ways in which they can volunteer now or future.
Maria organized with us a lot of fun activities through which the children learned how to work better as a team, how to trust themselves and how to feel good together. The workshop generated laughter, smiles, good cheer, joy and good mood, to everyone’s delight.
